This company was excellent! I was in a panic because I have really nice aluminum mini-blinds on a 108″ long window. The cord was breaking which was bending a few of my slats and about to break off completely. I called several companies to replace the blind and the prices I received were unbelievable, and most wouldn’t even make one blind but would split it into two… no thank you! I called Slats and Pleats and spoke with Zagana who was so very helpful and informative. She gave me an estimate and she was right on the money! I saved hundreds of dollars by having the blind repaired instead of having to purchase a new one. The installer was quick, friendly, and efficient. I should mention that my appointment was nearly two weeks away but in just a few days I received a call from Zagana asking me if I happen to be free that day, and I was!! I would highly recommend Slats & Pleats for all of your blinds and shades work – whether it be installation or repair. I have a set of very expensive Hunter-Douglas “Duette”, pleated blackout blinds that are over 20 years old and in excellent shape, and Slats & Pleats has re-corded them twice in the past 7 years and today they replaced the Cord Lock which had broken. Slats & Pleats does professional and high quality work, shows up when they say they will, and are pleasant to deal with.

We purchased Hunter shades for our new apartment in 2011 and have been totally satisfied with the products and installation. Recently one of the shades was caught up on a wall and then fell to the floor – it was no longer functioning. Despite the fact we are located in NYC the office schedule a quick visit. The two staff members just left and having repaired the one problem shade checked all the other 13 shades for any wear and tear and replaced several cracked O rings. All this was done free of charge and covered by the warranty. Honest work and great service !!!
